Who operates MinuteAhead
MinuteAhead is operated by James Cicero in New Jersey, United States. Contact support@minuteahead.com for account, billing, refund, or privacy help. These terms cover website subscriptions. An Android app is planned and is not included as an available product.
Your account and your writing
MinuteAhead is for adults aged 18 and over. Keep your sign-in secure and use only an account you are authorized to use. You keep ownership of your writing. You allow us to store and process it to provide the features you choose, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not use the service unlawfully, bypass access or usage limits, or interfere with other members.
Free and Plus
Free includes daily journaling, goals, archive access, export, and deletion. Plus adds optional AI reflections, follow-up replies, weekly reviews, and member-controlled memory notes. AI coaching requires your separate permission. It is automated reflection, not a human coach, therapy, medical care, or an emergency service. Responses may be inaccurate; you decide whether to act on them. We do not promise specific personal or financial results.
Price and automatic renewal
Plus costs $7.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD per year, charged in full for the period you choose. It renews automatically at the same interval until canceled. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before you confirm payment. There is no automatic conversion from Free. You must explicitly choose a paid subscription and confirm its recurring charge through Stripe. A launch-list request does not start a subscription.
Included coaching and availability
Plus includes up to 200 AI requests per UTC calendar month, shared across one daily reflection, up to five follow-up replies a day, and one weekly review. Failed requests count toward the monthly allowance; they do not use a successful daily reflection or reply allowance. The monthly allowance resets on the first day of each UTC month, separately from your billing date. Unused requests do not roll over.
Coaching can pause when your allowance or the service’s shared monthly AI budget is reached, or during an outage. A subscription does not guarantee uninterrupted AI availability. Your writing and Free features remain available during an AI pause. Contact support if a service limitation materially prevents you from using your paid membership.
Optional voice journaling
Plus includes 120 minutes of voice-to-text journaling per UTC calendar month, separate from the 200 coaching requests. Each recording may be up to three minutes. Submitted duration is rounded up to the next second; submitted attempts, including failures, count toward the allowance. Minutes reset on the first of each UTC month and do not roll over. Voice requires a supported browser, microphone permission, an internet connection, and your agreement to send audio to OpenAI. Review transcription accuracy before saving. Voice and coaching share the service’s monthly AI budget and may pause when it is reached. MinuteAhead does not store audio recordings.
Cancel online at any time
Open Account: Manage subscription and review the amount and access end date before confirming. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally keeps Plus available until the end date shown in your account. Contact support if you cannot use the online cancellation flow. Canceling Plus does not delete your writing or your account.
Automatic 7-day first-payment refund
Cancel through Account: Manage subscription within seven days of your first Plus payment to receive an automatic full refund, for either the monthly or annual plan. Review the refund amount, then choose Cancel & refund. No email request is needed. Your subscription and paid access end immediately when cancellation succeeds; your writing and Free access remain. The refund returns to your original payment method. If processing is interrupted, return to Manage subscription to check or safely retry the saved request.
Renewals and unused portions of a billing period are ordinarily not refundable under this voluntary policy. This does not limit rights required by law or remedies for billing errors or a failure to provide the promised service. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, with arrival timing determined by the payment provider and your bank.
Failed payments
If payment fails, paid coaching pauses while the subscription needs payment. You can update your payment method and pay outstanding invoices through Manage subscription. Access resumes after payment and subscription status are verified. Payment retries may occur under Stripe’s configured billing process. Your journal remains available on Free.
Changes and closure
We will give advance notice of material price or subscription changes before they affect a future renewal, with an opportunity to cancel. We will not retroactively increase a paid period’s price. If we discontinue paid service, we will stop future renewals and provide an appropriate refund for paid service we cannot deliver, subject to applicable law.
You may export or delete writing from Account. Account closure is separate from subscription cancellation; a subscription must end before closing. The Privacy Policy describes retained billing and operational records. We may restrict access for misuse or security issues, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude. Contact support to raise a concern so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring an eligible claim.
